The Ravelers have performed at a wide variety of functions and events over their eighteen-year existence. They seem to really enjoy the challenge that each "gig" brings.
The spring and summer has weddings, city sponsored "concerts in the parks," corporate functions and conventions. The fall and winter has more weddings, holiday parties, school student/parent/faculty socials, nightclubs, restaurants, churches, private organizations, anniversaries all fill the remainder of The Raveler's calendar. "This year seems to be the 40th Surprise Birthday Party Tour," says Martie Echito, keyboardist and singer, "All we need is a reason to play and we're there!"
The Ravelers play over 50 dates per year, and each gig comes highly recommended through word-of-mouth. "We all have 'regular careers,' so this type of schedule is perfect for our lifestyles," says Rob Haerr, drummer. "Playing music as a 'fun, get-away activity' really makes life a joy. We love to travel away for weekend gigs when we get the chance."
